No. MailFlow connects to the Gmail account you already use, so you do not need to move to a new email client.
After you sign in and grant permission, MailFlow reads the message information needed to display, organize, search, and filter your mailbox, such as senders, recipients, subjects, labels, message status, and available attachment metadata. We do not request permissions for features that are not implemented.
It may need to read message content when that information is necessary for a filtering or organization feature. Our Privacy Policy explains what we access and how it is used. Gmail data is not used for advertising and is not sold.
Simply connecting your account does not mean MailFlow can delete, send, or move messages. The current version uses Gmail's read-only permission, so those write actions are not available through the current authorization.
The current version is designed for Gmail accounts through Google OAuth and the Gmail API. Additional email providers may be supported in the future when the required integration and permissions are implemented.
